Privacy Policy for Flix

Juye Symons ("I", "me") operates the Flix mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when you use the App.

Information Collection

The App collects and stores the following information that you provide:

- IPTV Account Credentials: Server URL, username, and password for your IPTV service provider. This information is required to connect to your streaming service.

- Cached Content Data: The App temporarily caches media information (channel listings, movie catalogs, TV series data) to improve performance.

Data Storage

- Credentials are stored securely in your device's Keychain. If you enable iCloud Keychain on your device, credentials may sync across your Apple devices.

- Cached data is stored locally on your device and can be cleared at any time through the App.

Data Sharing

I do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Your IPTV credentials are only used to connect directly to your chosen service provider. No data is sent to me or any analytics services.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have certain rights regarding your personal data:

- Legal Basis: The App processes your credentials based on contractual necessity - the App requires this information to provide its core functionality.

- Access and Deletion: You can view and delete your stored accounts at any time within the App. Removing an account deletes all associated credentials and cached data from your device.

- Data Portability: Your data is stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account (if enabled). You maintain full control over this data.

- Data Retention: Credentials and cached data are kept until you delete them through the App or uninstall the App.

- Right to Complain: You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App or on the App Store listing.
