Shopify
I build and look after Shopify stores for businesses selling online, from new stores and theme work to moving platforms and connecting Shopify to the rest of the business.
What I can help with
New store builds
Stores built on a well-supported theme or designed from scratch, set up with your products, payments, shipping and the apps you need.
Theme work
Building a theme to a designer's design, or adding new sections and features to the theme you already have.
Moving to Shopify
Migrating from WooCommerce, WordPress, Magento or another platform, bringing your products, customers and search rankings with you.
Integrations
Connecting Shopify to stock, accounts, couriers and other systems, so orders and data move without retyping.
Speed and fixes
Finding what's slowing your store down or getting in the way at checkout, and fixing it.
Ongoing support
Help when you need it, for updates, new features, seasonal changes and the odd emergency.
How I approach it
Use what Shopify already does
I lean on Shopify and well-supported apps first, and only build custom where it earns its keep. That keeps running costs and upkeep down.
Easy for your team to run
Stores are set up so your team can update products, pages and offers without needing a developer.
Protect what you've built
Redirects, SEO and tracking are planned in, so a new store or theme doesn't lose the traffic you already have.
Tested before launch
Checkout, payments, shipping and order emails are tested from start to finish before the store goes live.

Questions
- Do I need a custom theme?
- Usually not. A good theme, set up well, suits most stores. A custom build makes sense when your design or the way you sell needs something a theme can't do.
- Can you work on a store someone else built?
- Yes. I'll review it first, so you know what's in good shape and what needs attention.
